A Fresh Walk-In Closet

When all the clothes were unpacked after this client’s move, it was the perfect time for us to come in and give their new closet some fresh organization. With large built-in shelves, there was plenty of space for folded clothes, shoes, and purses. The right containers hid away and contained loose items and gave the closet a finished look. Clothes were all hung according to type and then organized by color: rainbow style. More shoe racks on the floor gave all their shoes a home while her dresser was a perfect spot for undergarments and athletic attire. We found some sunglass organizers for the top of her dresser so they could be picked out as the finishing accessory. Suitcases were used often so those were stored on a top shelf and smaller duffle bags and backpacks were put inside larger luggage.

A key for us is to place items that are loose and scattered with other similar items in a container that looks cute and is easy to access. We see a lot of closets that have this issue and loose items without a home just look like clutter. Storing them inside a pretty container does the trick. And, a label doesn’t hurt so you know what’s inside.

The couple loved their newly organized space with everything having a home so they can easily place items back where they belong.
